The Ultimate Sandwich

I love this blog author’s honesty; that is exactly what would happen to me if I planned a hike to discuss how the key to the success in the new school year is to be “organized, organized, and organized.” But it did get me thinking about The Ultimate Sandwich. What would yours be?

  1. Oh! That is a tough one. I don't think I could choose just one:
Turkey, brie, apple & honey mustard, grilled ham & cheese with tomato, tomato, mozzarella & basil, and BLT with avocado would be my all-time favs.
Living near Philly, I have become a huge fan of the cheesesteak lately. Lastly, at Cosi I recently had a Gorgonzola steak sandwich that was out of this world! YUM!
Still love my PB&J sometimes, too.

  2. Our family's recent fav (just had it for dinner last night) is a Bertie Wooster. A local bakery/deli (Umpleby's) makes it and we stole it. It is made on locally produced Deli Sourdough bread. It has deli-sliced turkey, thin, green apple (or honey crisp - our fav) slices, Vermont sharp cheddar, thick-cut, cob-smoked bacon, lettuce, and mayo. Absolutely delish!

  4. Homemade Chicken (or turkey) curry melt (with havarti cheese) on sourdough bread. Plus, everyone in the house will eat it!!
