Freezing Scalloped Potatoes?

Can you freeze Scalloped Potatoes? Do you bake them first?

  1. Bridget, I've frozen the 3-Cheese Scalloped potatoes that I make. In the recipe where it says can be made 2 hours ahead, I have frozen at that point. Then I defrost in the fridge day before-over night. Bring to room temp day of and rewarm for about 20 minutes.
