We share recipes and ask and answer questions from “How do you feed your family at night when you don’t walk in the door until 5:30 and you have a soccer game at 6 and piano lessons at 6:15 ... on opposite ends of town?” to “What’s your Thanksgiving menu this year?” to “Remember that punch you made at Christmas? What was the recipe?” So come on in to our virtual dinner group, pour yourself a glass of wine, and let’s start cooking together.
BLT's , Pork Curry , I was thinking chicken and asparagus maybe as Katie's http://virtualdinnergroup.blogspot.com/search?q=company+Recipes+. I did Risotto w/the pork but a spring Risotto like this is always good. Last week I also made the cilantro lime pesto it was so good even w/o the shrimp. I also like arugula & walnut pesto http://www.nomeatathlete.com/simply-bangin-arugula-walnut-pesto/
ReplyDeleteGood luck. Let us know what you decide so we can try it next week.
So far I did Chicken Tacos, french onion soup with cheesy breadsticks (pillsbury crescent rolls wrapped around a mozzarella stick and baked) and salad, and last night homemade pizza (plain, roasted tomatoes, basil & mozzarella and spinach, caramelized onions and blue cheese) and salad. Tonight will be chicken something. Feeling like comfort food because it is so rainy and dreary here....
ReplyDeleteEio, what did you do for your Pork Curry?
I love BLTs. YUM!
We've been in a comfort food weather zone too. We had chicken cacciatore and beef stew on the crockpot, and baked chicken, tonight is grilled American and meunster with homemade tomato soup (see recipe at inhomecooking.blogspot.com)
ReplyDeleteThis week I grilled the pork and then serve it with the curry sauce on the side the girls think it is too spicy so it;s mostly for Brad and I. I cheat, there is a Vietnamese Style Curry sauce that we buy.
