George wants to know if you will share Nonni's Pickled Peppers recipe? He even claims HE will try to make them!

6 or 7 LARGE Green peppers – sliced length ways and seeded
2 RED peppers – sliced length ways and seeded
1 Can Black Pitted Olives
1 Jar Green Olives w/pimento’s
2 Cans anchovies’ cut into small pieces
Spices
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Oregano
Parsley Flakes
Boil water in large pot, add sliced peppers, boil approximately 5 minutes, (until the white areas change color). Nonni said to bring water to boil, then turn off the burner, add peppers and cover, let the peppers sit in the pot until the white area changes color.
Drain peppers and place in a plastic container with cover. Add salt pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano and parsley flakes, to taste.
Add both types of olives, add anchovies, mix and refrigerate.
After a couple hors turn container upside down a few times, do the same in the morning.
Taste, add additional spices if necessary.
Serve cold.
Did George ever make them at Thanksgiving?
No, he didn't. Maybe next year...:)
