We share recipes and ask and answer questions from “How do you feed your family at night when you don’t walk in the door until 5:30 and you have a soccer game at 6 and piano lessons at 6:15 ... on opposite ends of town?” to “What’s your Thanksgiving menu this year?” to “Remember that punch you made at Christmas? What was the recipe?” So come on in to our virtual dinner group, pour yourself a glass of wine, and let’s start cooking together.
Do you have my pumpkin bread recipe? I love that one. You could do either 2 big loafs or 4-5 mini loafs, wrap them pretty and sell.
ReplyDeleteOnce I did chocolate dipped pretzel sticks, it was a nice alternative. We put them in a stand up container and sold them for .25/each.
Do NOT do Choc Chip cookies and brownies... there will be a million!
This is a link to the Cider Beetles I made last year: http://chaosinthekitchen.com/2008/10/cider-beetles/. They were a huge hit! In fact, thank you for the reminder. I think I'll make them with the kids cooking class I'm running this month (the theme is Simple Gifts, today is fudge and stained glass cookies), and maybe for the teachers at school. Wouldn't a little basket or bag of these be so cute?
ReplyDeleteNo,I don't have your pumpkin bread. Please post.
