I think my kids are going to love it! I, of course, had to add relish to it. (My kids love pickles on their cheeseburgers.) Seemed like fun and something very different.

We share recipes and ask and answer questions from “How do you feed your family at night when you don’t walk in the door until 5:30 and you have a soccer game at 6 and piano lessons at 6:15 ... on opposite ends of town?” to “What’s your Thanksgiving menu this year?” to “Remember that punch you made at Christmas? What was the recipe?” So come on in to our virtual dinner group, pour yourself a glass of wine, and let’s start cooking together.

ReplyDeleteThey only seemed to think it was ok. I was kind of surprised. Might be a bigger hit as a part of a snack-y dinner or for a party appetizer. I could see your big boys all liking it maybe...

ReplyDeleteTried this tonight. Erin thought it was the best dinner she ever had. Brad and I thought it was ok and Molly and Maeve were not too impressed. I had ground turkey in the house so I might try it again w/reg beef. I also didn't have beef broth so I used a lipton onion soup mix and water didnt add as much flavor as I expected.
